Homework: Problems from Maya Civilization
There are 3 problems now that Maya Civilization used to do.
First- an agriculture was a slash-and-burn system, which mean they also cut down trees in a forest and grow crops for their own, because this type of agriculture is not believed to be able to support tje high population densities of the Maya socities.
Second- a place that Mayan live are in drought time. Sometimes it's drought for a long time can grow anything for good.
Third-Also in a city of Maya, there is a bout 5 million people. That is a lot but it's in a small city.
I think a things could improve this is: to change a governement, need to find t he way to figure this out. Build more cities, raised more crop without use slash and burn system and try to save water for a drought time.

A new life: Immigration
A new life
In 1975, when the war in Vietnam ends, about 15 years later my grandpa moves to US to have a new life. He lived in Orange County, California where the Vietnamese were mainly settled on. His job is a chief cook of a small Chinese restaurant. He is Chinese but he can spoke Vietnamese. Then a few year, later he took my grandma to the US, because she can’t live a miserable life in Vietnam. A government took all the valuable stuffs of a Vietnamese. Finally, she can make that immigration successfully to US. Live in US are difficult, and she thought it’s difficult to adapt the environment or a climate in a new country. The immigration can cause by economic pull factor and also environment push factor. She cans fid a good education, people place in US for a new generation and also freedom.
When she arrived, everything seems new to her. She had to find a new job in US, her challenged is to learn English to talk to another people. It’s difficult to her, she have to make enough money to spend. She lived in US about 10 years to now; she still can keep the Vietnamese culture. Every year she came back to her homeland, to visit friends’ family. She is a citizen of a US, in a future I think I will go to live with her. She loved Vietnam, and she glad that she’s got a better condition.
