1. What is the main point of this article?
-I think the main point of this article is how the global warming damage the environment. That will effect our lives.

-Drought: a shortage of rainfall
- Variation: different, to be adapt
-Monsoon: any wind that changes direction with the seasons

3. What is the difference between “weather” and “climate”?
-Weather:is the day-to-day state of the atmosphere, and its short-term (minutes to weeks) variation. Popularly, weather is thought of as the combination of temperature, humidity, precipitation, cloudiness, visibility, and wind. We talk about the weather in terms of "What will it be like today?", "How hot is it right now?"


-Climate:is defined as statistical weather information that describes the variation of weather at a given place for a specified interval. In popular usage, it represents the synthesis of weather; more formally it is the weather of a locality averaged over some period (usually 30 years) plus statistics of weather extremes.


4. What are the examples listed in the article of “extreme weather”?
-Over the past few months, it feel like it's been one weather extreme after another. Torrential monsoon rains in Pakistan caused the worst flooding in decades, killing more than 1,500 people and uprooting millions.
-In Russia a, recording braking heat wave along with drought destroying millions of acres of wheat and killed dozens.
In the United States, there is a flooding battered from New England,then Tennessee,Arkansas, and Oklahoma, while record-breaking heat wave baked the entire eastern part of US.


5. What experiences have you had with “extreme weather”?
I have a experience about it.I remember it a flooding and a large rain or storm in a middle part of Vietnam. Like Da Nang, many people died and lost of their home. Trees are hitting a house. Water are everywhere, they have to use small boat to evacuated. Sea levels rise that time and also a hurricane.


6. What does the word “perception” mean?
-Becoming aware of something via the senses, understood about something, notice...


7. What is your “perception” of global climate change?

-In my opinion and my knowledge, Climate change and global warming cause a lot of damage to the environment and also effect our human lives. Human live in this planet cannot protect and manage this earth so bad. NOw we have to safe or help this green world, do anything that you can. Give back life to the lovely planet. We still have a chance to start over again, if we can't do it someday you will not have a chance to regret it. It's too late. If you can't recycle or anything you are helping the earth. Try your best to do it. Come on, this world needs us!!! Make the planet green.

Human/Environment Interaction:
In my map, there is a lot of Environment Interaction like mountains, rivers, forest,ocean... The people in these land live by eat meat and drink water...fruits take from tree. People lives in peace. Mountains are high and a huge forest. A gold of ocean, people can take it. Feed animals, and trees. Create foods to eat.

Movement:
There is a war between of 3 islands.So the Samurais empire take a battleship and move to Gwai kingdom and control all the place. Gwai people have to move from their land to Pirates place, evacuated to survive and start a new life. If the war is end, they can move back or staying.

Location:
My longitude in my map is 70 degrees and latitude is also 70 degrees. 1 cm in my map is 250 km in real. Because it is island so, it's have to move 1 place to other. For example: there is a lot of mountains, forests, and rivers. I will take it 1 my river is located at 20 degrees longitude and 30 degrees latitude.

Place:
My map physically characteristic is: there are a lot of people live under mountains and near river. So they can take the water easier. Sometimes it's had earthquakes and volcanoes. A lot of forest, villages of people. Also have many resources in underground.

Region:
In my map, there are 3 islands. Each island is one kingdoms. Around them, is a large body water cover. Each island have river, forest, and river and people. people can go to the mountains to find food, river to take water, forest(tree to make a place to live). People live in peace.

                                                              A grow of nations and consequences
This happen a long time ago, when the land had create it. In a peace world, a land had create by a volcano and earthquakes and divided into 3 islands.. in this 3 islands, there are 3 types of tribe. There are Gwai , Samurais and Pirate.
They want to make their own tribe to be more powerful. So they make the name of their tribe. Gwai kingdoms, Samurai's empire and the last but not least is Pirates land. The Pirates  are the richest of those 3 islands, because in their land have many many gold, resources, and of course is diamond. The other also have it, but they are not very much. So they are jealousy, especially is Samurais. They make a plan to take over the Pirates.
Their plans is: take over the Gwai kingdom to spread more land and make it bigger and starting to attack the Pirates. they move by battleship, and destroy everything in Gwai, people died and evacuated to the Pirates.
King Luke of Pirates let Gwai people live in his land.
Samurais will continue a plan and start to take it. The battle had begun. They are fights each other, a bloody battle. Samurais had many chance to win the battle but not success. The Pirates is so strong and they can defeat the Samurais easy. Finally, Samurais had lost many men and have move back.
In the plan, the Samurais are very clever, they make a fake contraction peace, gave up and they think that way is easy way to take trick the Pirates. There is a lot of treasure that they Pirates find and hide it somewhere in a mountains. One night, while is everybody is asleep, Samurais sent a group of spies to find a treasure and take it all. Next day, the Pirates realized that their treasure is gone and they know that only the Samurais take it. If they want a treasure back, they have to gave up.
All the pirates said they will never gave up until they day. So, they prepared everything for a battle between them and Samurais. The army is so strong, the Samurais had to try their best but can't defeated all. SO they gave up, and promise they will never fight and gave all the treasures back.

Hello, everyone.My name is Johnny Ly. I'm 8 grade. And now I'm studying with Mr.Blake.In AIS, I have many best friends, especially Sam, Peter,Ryan and Jeff. They are very goods friends of mine. My dream job is to  be a businessman like my parents. My hobbies is to listen to music, plays computer or video games, sports. I love to play soccer, it is a good one. I love to watch TV too, I also love to read books too. Especially is war, I love them or action. My favorite foods is Pho~,Broken Rice, Chinese foods and a lot. My favorite subject is Social Studies. I love it, because it shows us a culture of different people in the world, not just only people also a new place(geography). History is awesome!!! I have learned and interesting about it for a long time. I have a knowledge about it. My family have four people. There is my parents and my little sister named Jenny. She also a student of AIS in elementary school. This year, I will try my best to get a good grades. So this is my personality.

I think I can learn more culture from different people are place. I can learn culture of the family of mine. When , where I'm from. I can know my original well. How my parents got me. I can learn more thing that I never knew before. Not just only my family, I can learn culture of the another people. That is very cool. What is their culture and how???Learn culture is very important,everyone had their own one. You can learn about how they live, what their religious practice are, what types of food they eat, what holidays they celebrate. There are many different things you can learn from culture.
